Extended it to full height on a muddy trail and the grip stayed rock-solid the whole time—the locking mechanism really holds. Love that it’s waterproof too, so I didn’t stress when light rain hit mid-shot. Feels like a proper workhorse for any outdoor shoot.
The waterproofing got tested on a beach trip within the first week, and even after dunking it in saltwater, the extendable legs still slide out smooth. It's my go-to grip for hiking shots now, and the length when fully extended is seriously impressive for a selfie stick.
Pulled it out of my backpack after a rainy hike and the waterproofing held up perfectly, even with mud splattered all over the grip. The extension is seriously long for a tripod this portable, which made getting those low-angle shots way easier than I expected.
